Join Meadville Public Library’s Silent Book Club in collaboration with Chipper's Pub! Bring a book and settle in for two hours of reading. This is the perfect opportunity for those who find it hard to concentrate at home, or want a dedicated time to dive into their books. After reading, stick around for a brief conversation where you can share what you're reading, discover new titles, and connect with other book lovers. Plus catch Happy Hour from 5-6 PM for food & drink specials! This Winter, Silent Book Club will meet March 25, April 8, April 22, May 6, and May 20.

Traditional book clubs can be exhausting and too much pressure at times. For this book club, you pick what you want to read based on a monthly theme. The meeting is held in the top floor community space.

Drop into Meadville Public Library’s monthly Learning Labs to practice your American Sign Language! At these labs, get introduced to library books that help teach ASL, from handbooks to children's picture books that feature Sign Language. Plus, pick up some basic signs like names, colors, and the alphabet with volunteer instructors Aleta and Mellie. These labs are designed to help support sign language learners of all ages and abilities.

Examining Frost’s poetic legacy as it has been reassessed in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries and present a more nuanced account of Frost's place in American literature. Presenting the talk is Dr. Robert Bernard Hass, who has published widely on Robert Frost, is professor of English at PennWest Edinboro and the executive director of the Robert Frost Society.
Jessica Elisheva Emerson is a native Tucsonan who spent 22 years in Los Angeles before returning to the Sonoran desert where she lives with her husband and children.
Her debut novel Olive Days, was published by Counterpoint Press and was awarded the GLCA New Writers Award. Her poems and stories have been published in a number of journals, and she is also a produced playwright.
