Traditional book clubs can be exhausting and too much pressure at times. For this book club, you pick what you want to read based on a monthly theme. The meeting is held in the top floor community space.
The theme for July: Plays
The works of William Shakespeare. Plays that are known better by their movie/musical adaptations, such as Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw (My Fair Lady). Find a comedy of errors with The Importance of Being Earnest: A Trivial Comedy for Serious People by Oscar Wilde. Think of your favorite movie and see if it was inspired by a play. Happy reading!
