The Second Saturday Community Market is held in downtown Meadville, PA from May - September. This season, you can find them on Chestnut Street between Park Ave and Mulberry Alley.
Each 2nd Saturday of the month from 9AM - 2PM, browse the wares of local vendors and businesses, enjoy local foods, live music and entertainment, and family activities.

Join our friends at Meadville Public Library for their monthly Open Jam session hosted by local musician Zackary Johnson! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, bring your instrument and join the symphony of sounds. It's a safe, open space for musicians of all ages and backgrounds to convene, share, and create music together.
Because You Care animal rescue is hosting a dog and family-friendly fundraiser at Frontier Park in Erie. There will be food trucks, a beer garden, kid and dog friendly activities, Magic Steve balloon sculptures, Bryan Toy caricatures, craft vendors, and their annual Franklin Fund Basket Raffle.
Tickets are $20 and all funds support providing veterinary care and maintaining the BYC adoption center.

A short-history of folk music (people's music!) ," will include singing and commentary from Dr. Doug Morris (West Chester University professor). There are tens of thousands of songs in the "folk" tradition, we will not sing or talk about all of them (hence, "a short history"), cover the years from roughly 1840 to 1940, and will include: field songs, dance songs, freedom songs, railroad songs, protest songs, union songs (e.g., from Joe Hill, and the Industrial Workers of the World, Florence Reese, etc.), Dustbowl songs (Woody Guthrie), etc. Audience participation will be encouraged - singing, insights, questions, dialogue, etc.!
